Well, the builder has been busily working on our next home. I am constantly amazed at how fast the house is going up. There was a slight slow-down last week because the beams to support the 2nd floor did not come in until Monday. However, the entire 1st floor is almost completely framed out.
Of course, there is the issue with some of the windows being too high, but luckily it is still in the framing stage and is easily fixed. Let's put it this way, I am 5'7", but cannot see out of about 4 windows. We made the windows 4030s which means that they are 4' wide and 3' tall (yes, I am learing quite a bit). Well, when you have them hung at around 8'5" because of a 10' ceiling, that makes the bottom of the window around 5'5". See my problem?? Just silly on my part, but thank goodness it is fixable!
